Vicky Nguyen, DDS, MS

Vicky Nguyen, DDS, MSD (or “Dr. V” as she is known in our office) was born and raised here in San Jose, CA. She attended Notre Dame High School and Santa Clara University locally and naturally roots on the 49ers and Warriors as a Bay Area native should. Dr. Vicky specializes in conventional root canal therapy, cases of traumatic injury, and surgical endodontics.  

She values educating patients about their oral conditions, prides herself on her interpersonal/communication skills, and is well known in the office for her calming demeanor. 

Dr. Vicky received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Arthur A. Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the Tau Kappa Omega, Phi Kappa Beta, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors societies during her time there. She went on to attend the University of Washington’s prestigious Graduate Endodontics Program in Seattle, WA to receive her Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degrees. While there, she worked alongside renowned clinicians and scientists to perform research pertaining to pulpal inflammation that has since been published in the American Association of Endodontists’ Journal of Endodontics.

Dr. V is thrilled to be practicing back in the Bay Area and strives to provide the highest quality of dental care possible to her patients. She regularly attends continuing education courses to stay up to date with continuously evolving technologies and values minimally invasive techniques to best conserve a patient’s existing dentition. She has volunteered to provide dental services to underserved populations both locally and overseas and intends to continue to give back to her communities.

When not in the office, Dr. Vicky can often be found romping around town with her golden retriever Murphy, golfing at one of the many beautiful local courses, snowboarding in Tahoe, or enjoying some of the fine cuisine that the Bay Area has to offer.
